off-road utility vehicle will be showcased alongside other low emission vehicles at the Low Carbon Agriculture Show 2023 on 7-8 February, at its first trade event since launching in December 2022. Visitors to the show, taking place at the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh, will be able to see what Munro says is the world’s first ‘capable’ electric 4x4 vehicle, in the event’s ‘Low Emission Vehicles (LEV) Expo’ exhibition. The agent showcasing the Munro MK1, Off-Road Electric’s director, Marc Monserrat, says that demos will be available from March onwards. “Off-Road Electric is taking orders for delivery in 2023. “Low Carbon Agriculture Show is the perfect place to present the MK1 off to the many farmers and landowners who are looking to reduce emissions with a reliable off-road vehicle, a 5-year 100,000-mile warranty and a long life span,” adds Marc. And with more low emission vehicles becoming standard on UK farms, the event will explore how farmers can become key players in the generation, storage and supply of renewable transport electricity and fuel in rural areas, as well as supplying decentralised power networks. The Low Emission Vehicles Expo will feature the latest innovations in low emission agricultural machinery, including battery and biofuel powered vehicles, opportunities in rural charging infrastructure, and renewable energy with an exhibition and a dedicated conference session. Industry experts speaking in the LEV conference session, sponsored by Osprey Charging Network, and chaired by Andy Eastlake, CEO of Zemo Partnership, will look at how we are progressing with UK transport decarbonisation targets, the opportunities this transition offers landowners. In the show’s exhibition, the all-electric Scottish Munro MK1 Utility Truck will make its debut. Also making an appearance will be the FT25G - the world’s first commercial all-electric compact tractor, imported by Reesink Agriculture. Osprey Charging Network will be looking for freehold and leasehold land to expand its driver-recommended rapid charging network, and JCB will showcase its LEVs. David Timmis, JCB product and marketing manager says the JCB 525-60E Agri Loadall and 35-22E Teletruk will be at the event, and visitors can talk to the JCB specialists and test drive a machine in the demonstration area. “JCB Agriculture is delighted to be exhibiting at the Low Carbon Agriculture Show 2023 to showcase its latest E-Tech electric machines. JCB needs alternatives to power its machinery in a zero-carbon way and our engineers have successfully replaced diesel engines in certain JCB compact equipment with lithium-ion batteries,” says David. “Our broad range of E-Tech products now offers agricultural customers zero emissions at point of use, low noise, smooth operation, equal performance to diesel and capabilities of a full day’s work on a single charge,” adds David.
