Industry experts confirmed for 2022 show
Our industry-renowned conference is a huge draw for farmers looking for practical advice from the experts, which can be implemented at farm level. Here's a sneak peek at some of the speakers we have confirmed for the 2022 show.
Energy Now Expo conference 2022:
- Matt Edwards, senior policy advisor, Department for Transport, will discuss ‘Decarbonising our transport system – what’s the plan?’
- Charlotte Powell, head of bioenergy and carbon removals – Innovation, BEIS, will cover ‘Biomass Feedstock Innovation programme – Increasing domestic supply of biomass to support net zero’
- Kiara Zennaro, head of heat - green gas lead, REA, will update on the ‘Green Gas Support Scheme and other biogas incentives’
- Laura Bishop, GSHPA chair, will outline ‘Ground source heating deployment in agriculture’
- James Robottom, Onshore Wind Advocacy and Policy Manager, RenewableUK
- Jon Swain, technical director at NFU Energy, will speak on ‘The future of heat without gas - how could this look?’

- Annie Leeson, CEO of Agricarbon, and Nicola Cannon, associate professor of agriculture at the Royal Agricultural University will outline the ‘Soil Carbon Code - What is it and why do we need it?’
