About

Adrian began life as a mine engineer in the early 1980's with the then National Coal Board. He left the engineering sector for a number of years before returning in 2007 and requalifying as a heating engineer focusing on renewable energy solutions and training with many of the mainstream suppliers. Adrian has installed various technologies pre and post FIT/RHI before taking an opportunity to project manage Renewable energy projects. He has worked with most technologies in both new and retrofit environments but found the most challenging retrofitting in historic settings. In 2015 he joined the National trust as a renewable energy project manager where he has managed the installation of around 5GW of energy from various technologies across multiple sites.

Bean has an Honours Degree in Physics from Imperial College, is an Associate of the Royal College of Science and is the Chairman of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association. He has over 10-years' direct experience in energy and carbon mitigation and in concept design, procurement and the installation of mechanical services and renewable technologies. Over this time, Bean has personally overseen the specification and delivery of over 70 ground-source systems (35 coupled to boreholes and ranging between 20kW and 250kW in capacity) many of which supply heat and potable hot water to Listed and period buildings. Dr Nina Skorupska CBE  is the Chief Executive of the REA, the largest trade association with over 550 company members. The REA covers all renewable technologies covering electricity, heat, transport and circular economy and includes energy storage and electric vehicles in its portfolio of representation. With over 35 years of working in the Energy Industry, she is an engineer and her career started as a fuel specialist but moved quickly to managing power stations for RWE npower. After several senior roles within the RWE Group, her career with them culminated with joining the Board of the RWE's Dutch business, Essent, as Chief Technical Officer. She is also currently member of the Board of European Renewable Energy Federation (EREF), Ambassador for POWERful Women and joined the Board of Transport for London (TfL) in September 2016. She sits multiple advisory groups: National Grid ESO, OFGEM, Carbon Trust, and ERA.

He farms 300 acres in West Wales, now the longest established organic dairy farm in the principality, where he produces Hafod, a raw milk cheddar. He was awarded a CBE for services to organic farming in 2005.
