Geoff Ellison was originally a Government research scientist with ADAS before moving into the environmental sector where he became Technical Director of a major waste management company.

He established Dragon Drilling in 2005, which is one of the leading companies in the environmental drilling sector, specialising in the utilisation of natural resources. As well as being an active member of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association Geoff also sits on the Technical & Standards committee of the British Drilling Association.

Geoff Ellison will outline how ground source heat pumps can be used in agriculture to reduce carbon emissions. This will include the options for sustainably utilising heat from the environment, legislative framework, agricultural opportunities and how to integrate ground source heat pumps into a complete renewable energy strategy.
