Hamish Watson is Founder and CEO of Polysolar Ltd, an award-winning solar photovoltaics technology company based in Cambridge, UK. 

Polysolar, established in 2007, is a producer of innovative transparent solar PV glazing and lightweight solar panels as well as pioneers in the development of next generation organic polymer based photovoltaics liquid printed on to any surface

Recognised as one of the leaders in Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), Polysolar’s solar PV glass offers an alternative to conventional building envelope cladding, delivering both cost-effective renewable electricity and enhanced thermal functionality.  The company works across the entire supply chain including fabricating structures, integrating electronics and designing and contracting projects, in addition designing and developing specialist solar technologies for applications in automotive to agriculture.

Hamish sits on governmental and academic advisory bodies on renewable energy and is involved with the MCS working group on solar. 

Hamish has a varied background in international entrepreneurship and technology commercialisation.  Starting his career in management consultancy, he went on to help established the first foreign licenced market research and consultancy firm in China.
