Lead Animal Genetics Expert, AHDB

Harriet is AHDB’s Lead Animal Genetics Expert for beef, including both suckler and beef from dairy. She manages AHDB’s National Beef Evaluations, providing genetic evaluations for all breeds and crossbred beef cattle across the UK. Currently, Harriet is working on the development of EnviroBeef, a genetic index to select the best animals to reduce emissions from suckler beef.
