Product Manager, Livestock Information Services

James Taylor brings a wealth of experience to his role as a Product Manager at Livestock Information Services, where he oversees the critical live livestock tracking system for species including sheep, goats, and deer. His primary responsibility is to ensure that this system not only meets but anticipates the needs of the industry and its stakeholders, providing a robust platform for the accurate reporting of animal movements which enables effective tracking of diseases. 

With a keen focus on the system’s evolution, James diligently concentrates on the progression of the system, and is committed to augmenting its capabilities, thereby cementing its status as an indispensable asset for the industry. He plays a pivotal role in preserving the integrity of the livestock tracking process, essential for disease prevention, and consequently, reinforcing the sustainability of the agricultural sector. 

Prior to his current position, James's has worked in project management within the sphere of agricultural research. He has also worked for international organisations that build global digital supply chain solutions. These solutions not only track agricultural products from their origin to the consumer but also evaluate sustainability performance, incorporating complex assessments of scope 3 emissions.  

As a speaker, James brings his extensive background in both practical agricultural operations and digital innovation to the conference.
