Lloyd Glanville is the Managing Director of BACB Renewables, a holistic decarbonisation consultancy based in East Yorkshire. The business specialises in offering client’s feasibility studies, detailed designs, technical procurement support, and client agent/quality assurance services across a range of decarbonisation technologies. Lloyd also founded the sister brand, BACB Biogas, which is the UK and EIRE exclusive agent for Carbotech GmbH’s biogas upgrading technology and carbon dioxide liquefaction portfolio. This has provided cost-effective biogas upgrading solutions to several anaerobic digestion (AD) plants in the UK. Additionally, he leads the Innovate UK-funded Project DELIVER, exploring innovative waste valorisation solutions to provide low carbon energy, waste management, and diversification opportunities for livestock farmers.

About this session:

DELIVER explores the techno-economic feasibility and policy landscape of integrating on-farm renewable energy and modular waste management technologies into a novel circular SMART system that maximises the valorisation of livestock waste and reduces the carbon footprint of production. Uniquely, DELIVER will focus on integrating insect farming with pig and poultry production.
