I spent the first five years of my professional career as a rural business consultant, providing strategic advice to farming and land managing clients across the West and East Midlands, to capitalise on opportunities arising from policy changes and grant funding. I also advised on subsidies, environmental schemes, planning and diversification projects. I now lead agricultural research projects at Grounded Research to provide clients with insights and recommendations to meet their strategic objectives. Our work supports many organisations which operate in the agricultural sector such as Defra, Forest Research, The UK Agri-Tech Centre, ADAS and academic institutions. I have a particular interest for sustainable farming and food production, working alongside nature regeneration.
