Marion Allayioti

Technical Officer, European Space Agency

Dr Marion Allayioti received the MEng degree in engineering in 2013 and a PhD from the University of Surrey. She received the IEEE second year communications price in 2011 and The DTI radio frequency engineers education initiative prize in 2012. Her research interests included beam reconfigurable antennas, polarisation reconfigurable antennas, low profile antennas for wireless and mobile communications and antennas for millimetre wave frequency applications. She joined Inmarsat (Sept ’17) as an Operations Engineer and as an RF and Antenna Ground Station System Engineer later. She joined the European Space Agency as a Technical Officer in 2021.
