Richard Wheeldon
Richard has been involved with farming and conservation consultancy for 25 years, working across the UK and Europe on large scale projects prior to moving into Higher Education at Reaseheath College to deliver sustainable farming topics. He has worked at the National Trust for 7 years, in both a regional and national role supporting tenant farmers to transition to sustainable land use models. Outside of work he runs a 160ha farm in the Peak District that is focused on Nature friendly farming in order to deliver habitat, biodiversity and low carbon livestock and produce. His current project is developing sustainable land management and farm decarbonisation programs
