December Digital Insights webinar will discuss ‘Low Carbon Transport and Machinery’
Low Carbon Agriculture show online has announced that its fourth December Digital Insights webinar will discuss advances in low carbon transport and machinery. In light of the recent government announcement that new petrol and diesel cars and vans will be banned in the UK by 2030, the webinar will explore what this means for the farming sector and what opportunities are available. Taking place on Wednesday 16th December at 18:00, expert guests will discuss the many benefits of the latest on-farm technological innovations. Speakers for the December Digital Insights session include:

  • Mike Woollacott, Managing Director, Greenwatt Technologies
  • Greg Hilton, Partner at Carter Jonas

David Jacobmeyer, show organiser, says Digital Insights are getting a great following. “We’ve had just under 500 register for the previous ‘Reaching Net Zero in Agriculture’ session, the ‘Opportunities for Renewable Energy on Farms’ and ‘Innovations in Agri-Tech’ webinars. Digital Insights are hosted by Low Carbon Agriculture Show online, taking place on 9 and 10 March 2021, The show remains free to attend and features the Energy Now Expo, in which an exhibition will be accompanied by an energy storage theatre and a cutting-edge conference programme, covering all forms of renewables. The Low Emission Vehicles Expo will showcase the latest low-carbon transport and machinery solutions, and highlight the related opportunities. The Environmental Business Expo will include an exhibition and conference sessions offering practical guidance to farmers on carbon and Environmental Land Management (ELM). Suppliers of innovative agri-tech will take part in the exhibition and workshop area within the Farm Technology Expo. The remaining monthly Digital Insights sessions will run on the following dates, on the lead up to the show:
  • December 16, 2020 – Low Carbon Transport
  • January 27, 2021 – Environmental Land Management (ELM)
  • February 24, 2021 – Show Preview
